Welcome to The Myesa Experience!

 

 

I always knew my voice was destined to be heard. Growing up in Los Angeles County, I realized it wasn’t the place for my budding talent. So, I packed up and moved north to hone my voicing skills.

 

In 2001, the Bay Area gave me a shot as an on-air radio personality for San Francisco’s KBLX, 102.9 FM. I fused music and voicing daily for a few hours. It was exciting and I learned so much! I also hosted live events – San Jose Jazz Festival, and Oakland’s Art and Soul Festival as well as their America’s Children’s Holiday Parade. I created, produced, and hosted a short-lived entertainment show. In this role, I caught the acting bug. Yes, in the Bay Area, I learned how to read and rock crowds (young and old), refine my voicing skills and dabble in acting.

 

Eventually, my time in the Bay Area ended. I headed back to Hollywood with a fresh air of confidence and some experience under my belt. I present DJ Myesa J! With over 15 years of DJing know-how, I hit the competitive Hollywood scene. I landed some one-off DJing gigs for clubs and adult birthday parties, a couple of standing summer gigs for day and night parties, I curated mixes played in rotation for some Downtown Los Angeles restaurants and I did a set for the Loews Hotel, Hollywood. In between DJing gigs, I booked voicing commercials for online content and PSAs as well as small acting roles for various daytime tv shows and commercials.

 

From Los Angeles to the Bay Area and back, I am home. Today, I am a veteran voicer, a seasoned DJ, and a principal commercial actor. Yet, I am not done. I am ready and able to give you a spectrum of services, from sultry-to-serious vocals, a hyped crowd-to-smooth grooves DJ, a dramatic-to-comedic actress, and a solemn-to-smiling face for the camera.
